I love it when a plan comes together!

I did long overdue upgrades to my old pillows.





































Our bedroom windows were condensing more than usual with our new whole house humidifier because air was getting trapped under the blind that hugged the window. Solution: replace blind with one that extended away from the window. To add back the original decor, I took the curtain panels I had used before and created valances attached to the blind. Yes, I confess I used pins but hey, it's just a bedroom.
































Ethan gave us a special Christmas gift this year - a photo shoot. I decided to display it in a prominent spot in our kitchen.

Random

Samantha: I am going to Girl Scouts at the museum. I went to the other museum on Friday. It's going to be fun.

Nita: I went to a baby shower today. Jungle theme! So cool! Dave's having a Crohn's attack :(. Katrina's at a youth retreat.

Welcome to our blog!

Samantha was sick and home from school today, so I decided to kill some time by creating a new blog for our family. It will be mostly pictures, and a few updates on our news.

Right now we are waiting for Bryan to arrive home from Belmont for Thanksgiving. Today Dave had a doctor appointment in Champaign and may be needing surgery for his Crohn's after all. He has to have an MRI and based on that they'll decide whether to recommend it.
